Aiman & Iya

The result for Teknik application is finally released. Boy, it was difficult to check the result! I tried many times yesterday but somehow, the portal had technical problem during my attempts. Alas, the result remained mistery. Probably it was so due to heavy network 'traffic'.

I got Fatin to help me out with the checking last nite. And it was a great relieve as we found out that Iya got a placement! Alhamdulillah..and the fact that it was the very first chioce that I made, the opportunity to go to STTJ is a blessing! I even got Emy into the picture, just to double check on Fatin's finding..haha! kasih sayang seorang kakak :P

What makes me happier is that Aiman, Zul's sister is also going to the same school :) so this kakak can visit 2 adiks during each visit! Both Zul and myself are delighted. We hope our sisters will do well in their studies. Congratulations Iya & Aiman!

Trip to Sg Petani

It took 4 hours drive to get to Sg Petani..Its been a while since my last journey on the North-side highway..many things have changed since then..in between Bukit Beruntung and Lembah Beringin exit, there is a new toll stop,Bukit Tagah..and along the way there was construction to 'broaden' the highway, adding another lane going on..and that makes driving so boring! anyway, it was a new experince for me as I reached Kedah territory...sawah padi dominated the view on both side of the road..and for a 'bandar' girl like me, its simply amazing! =) Look forward to my next visit!

its the 2nd day of 2008 and zul is leaving for Sg Petani..a new environment, new challenges and whole new experience await..

Irony..i snapped this pic a week after we got engaged..way before the job placement is announced! it so happen that it is one of the tank from zul's unit..and look at the signboard up there...bukit beruntung is where i live!! :)
