Update

Assalamualaikum...
It has been a while since the last entry. Life has been very busy and exciting.

Welcome Home
Alhamdulillah, all 4 of us are now reunited under the same roof; husband had just transferred to KL end November 2013. So we had new routines, adjusting ourselves for being together again after 11 months seperated by distance. Syukur.

Umar & School
Daily journey to KL is now merrier as we enrolled Umar to Taska Raniya beginning 02.12.2013. So both kids are stationed in KL while ibu and ayah deal with office work. Complete; all 4 occupying the limited space in our beloved Satria. And we do not have to rush to go back feeling guilty of late pickups the way we felt when Umar was with his babysitter. The kids seem happier with the new life. They long for ayah's presence; the attention, love and laughter. Alhamdulillah. I personally, is sick of distance marriage. May we have options to consider in yhe future in shaa Allah.

Mini Concert
Last Friday, Taska Raniya held its annual Concert & Graduation Day. A short and sweet event organised at the school itself. I was so excited. Despite my swallon face due to surgery to take out my bottom right side wisdom tooth, I did came early to secure the best spot to capture the moment. Raudhah was involved in the Mandarin choir while Umar in fashion show!

I felt so proud of the kids' achievement. The opening doa recited by a 5 year old boy impressed me to bits. I cried! Haha touching betul dan jujurnya, rasa bangga. Credit to tge dedicated and loving teachers. Well done!

Raudhah did her performance well. I am proud that she managed to do it in front of the crowd. I am proud of Umar too. Although he stood still at the stage, he did not cry. Well done boy! For a new comer (less than 10 days) you did very well. But I cought him crying in the prep room so I couldnot help it but to bring him with me, enjoying the rest of the show.

Hope you will learn more and have loads of fun at the school, kids! :)

Change

Assalamualaikum. Salam Maal Hijrah.

I had a refreshing 5 days off from work. Lama tak rasa cuti yang aman macam ni. Part of it was contributed by the successful management meeting conducted on Thursday, 31.10.2013. Alhamdulillah...

Spent quality time with husband and the kids. Managed to clean up the floor of the entire house. *satisfied*

Dan semalam terlebih rajin. Bawa turun langsir ruang tamu utama, dan 3 single panel tingkat atas...BASUH. Belek punya belek ring eyelet langsir ruang tamu dah reput. Haaaa sudah. Terpaksalah keluar cari langsir baru (yekeeeeee)!

Pilih warna plain grey. Hmm ok ke? Am so used to the old curtain design. Need time to adapt to the new look. Simplest, plain dan nampak ruang makin luas. Thinking of getting wall frame to fill the wide space, to bring up the surrounding. Have to love it no matter what. Tak kuasa nak beli langsir lagi buat masa ni hehe.

Oklah kot? :)

Langsir lama ingat nak ganti eyelet ring. Masih elok kainnya.

Until then, Have a great day!

Disney Live! Mickey's Magic Show

Had so much fun watching the show. Brings out the child in me. Gosh! In fact I still enjoy watching Disney's cartoons; Beauty & The Beast, Cinderella, Aladdin to name a few. I am so glad that my daughter loves them too. We 'connect' to the show so much compared to the boys; ayah & Umar. Hehe Umar even slept in the event hall! Haha so much for the birthday treat.

It was like a mini reunion too. I met my cousin Frida with her husband and eldest daughter Inara, and friends with their family members. How exciting!

Not regret for every single penny spent. Honestly, I need some Disney treat myself haha. I want Disney on ice next pleaseeee

P/s: pictures during the show were ciplak fro.m counsin's FB

Feeling satisfied

Same old spot, same old space and yet still the best therapy for an old school mom like me.

The shining floor will not last for long, I know. But the effort of cleaning and make it shine simply brings the satisfaction hence the big smiling face of Ms Jaja.

Call me sick but yeah, I feel great when I managed to clean up my territory.

So what makes you happy?

Toys R...

pain in the as* when they are not well organized! It took me almost 2 hours to sort out the 'treasure' built within these 3 years and 7 months of motherhood! These are just what being stored in the guest room. There are quite a number in the living area and 3 rooms upstairs waiting for right time (which I do not know when) for justice; whether they will be joining this batch or off to the
dusbin...

From now on, I will only buy books for the duo. Eh but Umar's birthday is just around the corner!?#$ Hah, whatever ibu. Gasaklah situ, another addition to the routine chores  o_0

P/s: Ni hormon tak stabil ke normal? Sambung heret plastik hitam sana sini. Agak-agak semak, kutip masuk plastik!

Special September

A note of my personal experience, for my future reference.

Please do not share this openly, in FB especially.

It has been 9 days post operation on 20th September 2013. I have never imagined myself going through a surgery; what more related to pregnancy - ectopic pregnancy. Alhamdulillah, I am recovering well and look forward to resume work earlier than my 2 weeks MC.

I still remember the moment when I found out about the pregnancy. I had a bad sickness a day before, on 11th September 2013. Felt dizzy all day and vomitted 8 times that day which lead to an MC leave the next day.  Still, a day rest did not help to drive the dizziness away. I felt strange about the signals. So I took the UPT that night, 12th September 2013...and it was positive. I cried. I could not believe it at that moment. I called the husband to break the news anyway. And we somehow came into a conclusion that this is a blessing and began to feel happy about it. Being the third pregnancy in my 3 years and 6 months journey of motherhood, I knew that the first thing I must do is to confirm the pregnancy status.

13th September 2013. I went to the medical centre first thing in the morning. It was Friday. And yes, the urine test result from the lab confirmed positive. But one major situation bothers me. I had an IUCD in my uterus! By all means the fact that I was pregnant regardless is all His blessing. But now, what should I do about it? And to add the worry, I started to experience spotting that day, which I had never experienced during my previous 2 pregnancies.  I was distracted, big time. Thought of arranging a quick appointment with my gynae that day but her schedule was tight as always. I was adviced to meet her during the 9th week of pregnancy and not to remove the IUCD. Boy, I was not satisfied with the proposals - more reason for me to feel so as they were not coming from an expert anyway!

The proposals got into me really bad. I was confused and the spotting was heavier by the day. I became emotional and I refused to get out from the bed the next morning. (I even contacted a friend through Facebook for second opinion (she is a doctor - thanks Ehan), a-pregnant-with-IUCD friend from uni days and an 1-fallopian-lady survivor for a clearer insights. Alhamdulillah people around me were helpful and resourceful. They were among the contributors to my next actions of this episode.) Gave myself couples of hours before I decided to move on and have a great weekend with my loved ones. We went to Malacca to visit the husband - the kids, my parents, sister and I rocked the road. Part of the emotions turned positive just by seeing the husband face to face. I knew I had to be strong and deep down inside I felt that this pregnancy was different :(

15th September 2013. Although from my readings, there are cases that IUCD was left in the uterus until labor and with close monitoring, I made up my mind that I wanted to get rid of the copper in my body system. I did not buy the idea of further complications that might occur along the way. But the procedure was a tragic. As I did not expect that someone is coming near my labor-area for atleast 4 years! It was horrible! I guess I was not ready for another pregnancy experience what more of getting a faulty-copper (faulty because I managed to get pregnant haha) out of my uterus. There was no pain, I was just not mentally prepared to face the situation, alone :( Once again I cried on my way home and mentioned that I will never agree to another IUCD to the husband. Hehe see what the hormones turned me to? Drama-queen.

17th September 2013. I went to the medical centre again. This time I already experienced bleeding :( Dr Ferial adviced me to see other lady gynae, someone who can attend to my situation. I agreed with her. But I chose to stick to PCMC, at least I am familiar to the procedures and the environment/ambiance factor.

18th September 2013. I was the ugliest person at PCMC. Haha I rushed myself to the Emergency Department that morning. The bleeding continued to worry me. So doctor called for Beta HCG blood test. And I was referred to Dr Tan Ay Eeng, a sweet Chinese lady gynae. Blood test result was ready after 2 hours and I got to meet her at 11.30am. The blood test was positive. But doctor did not manage to locate the sac; not through ultrasound, and not through vaginal scan. From that day the idea of ectopic pregnancy haunted me, until the next follow up appointment on 20th September 2013 at 12.00 noon.

20th September 2013. Today the husband and daughter accompanied me during the appointment. The blood test result today still showed that I am pregnant. However, through ultrasound doctor found a sac at my left fallopian. It has already swollen. So my worry was valid. Doctor called for a surgery to remove my 5 weeks old pregnancy at 5.30pm that day. Doctor refused to take any risk and I was not allowed to leave the hospital. All happened really fast. I was thankful - imagine what could have happen if I waited until week 9? Would I make it to week 9 at the first place? Further development of an ectopic could lead to rupture which then brings pain to another level and also different procedures... Of course I cried (again) when the doctor told me about the news. I just did not know what to expect; scared of the possibilities for it to end up at the unfavourable route Nauzubillah. But then again, I considered myself blessed for not having to endure the pain of a rupture. The ectopic pregnancy was discovered at an early stage - with His blessing, we managed to escape the painful part. Alhamdulillah...

If you are wondering what type of procedures that I gone through, it is called salpingectomy via a technique call laparascopy (to remove the sac and the effected fallopian) and dilation & curretage (D&C) to clear the blood lining in the uterus which is where the embrio should build up and eventually become the precious baby. You can read more about the procedure here: http://www.ectopic.org.uk/index.php/patients/treatment/surgical-treatment/
Obviously, I am still 'busy' coping with my emotion and far then ready to attend to questions, I am sorry...

Now to touch a bit on contraception. I would advice you to consult your gynae before you commit to any of the methods. Consider the pros and cons - different people got different experience, really. So mine is one of the '6 in 1000' cases reported for copper IUCD. I had it in December 2011 and got pregnant in September 2013 - I considered it as an achievement. I do not blame anyone for the decision I made back then. The grass was just not 'green' enough in my case. After this experience, I opt to go for natural plan. Although I loss one of my fallopian tube, I must not lost track of the blessings I have around me :) Alhamdulillah...

Just another adventure of my motherhood journey. May the experience makes me a better mother and wife to my kids and husband. ZI, RAZ & UFZ... I love all of you so much and I hope you feel it too :') And I could not thank my parents and sister enough for being the strong support system of my life!, my parents in law for their blessing, family and friends for the visit, doa and warm wishes through Facebook and Whatsapp. I was admitted for only one night but the number of visitors were just overwhelming. Thanks BFF Fatin & family, for accompanying me and the husband to the operation theatre - I miss darling baby Irfan already. Shasha & Zura for the visit and delicious LeVain breads. Shaz brought along her adorable kids and bibik, chocolates for me and balloons for my kids. And Kak Mila & officemates for the flower baskets & fruits. Thank you, thank you...

Alhamdulillah, segala puji buatMu Ya Allah :')

P/s: The lesson learned;
1) You have the right to know about your health condition.
2) Do not feel comfortable accepting thoughts from just anybody until you hear it from the specialist.
3) Seek for 2nd opinion if necessary.
4) If you did not manage to meet the 'usual' specialist, find other specialist that can attend to your condition there and then. Do not just wait and do nothing.

Disney Live! Mickey's Magic Show

Was so excited as I received the news about the show. Mickey is a known character to both Raudhah and Umar. I immediately booked 3 tickets for the show, scheduled on 19th October 2013 at 11.00am. Category 1 tickets, an advance treat for the future birthday boy. Hope the kids will love it as much as ibu does!

P/s: Umar will turn 2 yo on 11th October 2013 :)

Monday Blues

Assalamualaikum. Hari ni cuti. Jaga diri dan 2 anak yang kurang sihat. Masing-masing demam. Tinggi betul temperature 2 beradik. Mujur, lepas Subuh tadi panas berkurang. Cepat sembuh, anak-anak :)

Sementara Umar tidur, sempat masak bubur nasi untuk 2 beradik. Harapnya ada selera nak makan.

P/s: Alhamdulillah, pejam celik dah setahun menginap di rumah sendiri tanggal 19 Mei lalu. Kerata pon dah sambut ulangtahun pertama pada 19 Julai lepas. Dah lama tak bayar kos insuran 4 angka. Terkezut juga dibuatnya :)

Alhamdulillah...tak mewah tapi cukup seadanya.

My Floor, My Happiness...?

At last! Used to me my weekend routines. Tapi of late banyak aktiviti hujung minggu, plus kadang badan terlalu penat minta nak rehat je. Ada dekat sebulan juga lantai tak bermop. Rimas.

I am so happy! Clean floor is a big deal to me. The last thing you would want to face after a hectic day at work is to step on a dirty floor. Euwww turn me off big time! But sometimes I just have to let it go, considering the tired body and mind.

How do maintain your house floors?

Have a nice weekend everyone!

Project Green

Beli 3 batang pokok 'teduhan' last weekend. Tinggi pokok ni 5 kaki sebatang. Memang banyak berjasa MPV kami. Love love love.

Body Shop

Being a mother for 3 years and 4 months now, I feel that I did not do justice to myself. I often look selekeh and I do not feel good about how I look. Well, time management do not always work as you wish it could be in this 'hood' (read: motherhood). And improvement has to start somewhere.

Most of the time, the attention goes to the kids. Then the husband, house chores and so many more on top of the daily workload to manage at the office. And yes, most of the time, I did not pay attention to what I need as a lady; the skin pampering, pimples prevention and the sweet smell I used to have...

Last month, I indulged myself to the sweet smells of body gel and body lotion range of The Body Shop. A gift to myself in conjunction with Mother's Day. Just a psychological theory that I made up; fragrance or nice smells soothes the mind hence eliminate unnecessary stress. Yeah, I like to keep it that way :)

So, here's another upgraded-maintenance added to the monthly expenses. Hey, it is way affordable compared to Loccitane and Crabtree. Kan? So here goes :)

P/s: Aimed for 25% discount for birthday month (June) today, but ended up getting 30% discount and another RM15 discount voucher! Yey!

Baking leisure

Rasmi hadiah mother's day. Finally, I own a mixer! News feed di FB berulang-ulang update resipi moist chocolate cake. Makanya, terpaksa saya cuba. Ok, not bad resipinya. Lulus piawaian selera tak-cerewet saya.

Seronok. Mama suka makan kek. "Nanti mama nak, Jaja buatkan la..." Ok mama! :D

P/s: Harus lebih disiplin pakai korset PB, tekak mengidam kek sokmo lately!

ZI, thank you :-* Birthday nanti ibu tak nak bake sendiri aci tak? ;p

Hijau

Progress tak berapa baik, pokok ni tumbuh tak berapa sihat angkara kualiti tanah kurang baik. Untuk selamatkan keadaan, 'mastermind' projek laman a.k.a suami tercinta alih pokok-pokok ni dari kawasan pagar ke dalam pasu.

Inilah hasilnya! Sejuk mata memandang. Daun jauh lebih hijau dari sebelumnya :))

Alhamdulillah.

Happy Teacher's Day

Been informed on the celebration at school only on yesterday morning.

The initial plan was either fry some chicken nuggets or noodles.

But I cannot digest the idea of waking up way earlier from my weekdays early routine. Anything earlier than 5.00am is not welcomed except for Monday morning; to send the husband off to PD, until the porch gate ;p

Ended up baking the simplest bread pudding for the celebration. Inspired by Ms Yunayuni! Thank you babe!

You think?

I do! In the end of the day, this is what matters to me. LOVE. That is what my parents thought me since I was a kid. The power that keeps me going whenever challenges set in.

This is the value that I want my kids to hold onto. Money cannot buy happiness. Cherish the love around you and show some love in return. In shaa Allah you will have a peace of mind :)

Nonetheless, I still find it not easy to LOVE Mondays! Don't we all feel the same? Hehe

Spent a night here for family day gathering with colleagues from the previous company. Cum mother's day celebration for me, personally.

A relaxing weekend it is. At least until we reach home. Weekly house chores await!

3rd child...

In progress? Been thinking about this of late. I miss the feeling of having a newborn in the family. Oh, rindu!

Hasrat hati disuarakan kepada sang-empunya-DNA. Usul kurang mendapat sambutan. Benar katanya, UFZ masih manja belum nampak bakat jadi abang. Pula, si dia jauh dari sisi. Kalau ada, boleh bantu urusan harian 4 beranak. Takkan nak harap atok nenek cuya lagi. Setuju.

Besarkan yang 2 ni dulu. Ada rezeki, kita besarkan keluarga in shaa Allah. Mudah-mudahan masih berdaya bila tiba masanya :)

P/s: 19 bulan-UFZ melasak bagai juara. Menyakat, memanjat, lagatnya penuh menguji dan mencuit hati. Ibu sayang adik dan kakak!

A night stay@Port Dickson

A short gateway in conjunction with the election day. We got to stay at PD! A fun-packed 2D1N trip for the family of 4. Short and sweet.

Spent a night (22 hours to be exact) at The Avillion water chalet. The surrounding is so peaceful and romantic...perfect for honeymoon trip (even with 2 kids along! :p ). Kids will love this place too. 3 swimming pools (2/3 are kids friendly), a pet farm with pet feeding hour at 10am daily, spacious bath tab (kids just love water don't they?), peacocks walking along the pathway to the beach and Nickelodeon! A great place to relax and be closed to nature.

We had so much fun. After checking out, the kids cried when they saw our car at the lobby. The knew, they had to say goodbye :) Ada rezeki kita datang lagi, ok RAUF? Love you both to bits!

GE13

This is my first vote as an army's wife. We got to cast vote 5 days earlier than the rest of Malaysian. Interesting.

Well the excitement was not so much about the voting day, but the extended weekend I had with my loved ones :D Took annual leave on 29th April, entitle for unrecorded leave for election day on 30th April and followed by public holiday on 1st May. Nice!

My voting experience is ordinary. Nothing extraordinary to share besides the permanent ink thingy. My best wishes to all of you for the election day this Sunday, 5th May 2013.

P/s: I wish for: peaceful Malaysia, reasonable cost of living, education for all, reduced petrol price without jeopardizing the operations of the 'producer', well-equipped arm forces, 4 months maternity leave (eh??) Haha..

Gelap

Gambar:
Atas - dulu tak buka tingkap pon dapat cahaya
Bawah - 1 panel tingkap buka, 1 tutup

Macam oven bahangnya.

Macam-macam usaha husband buat untuk initiate effective 'heat transfer' demi keselesaan semua (orang background engineering memang macam ni ye?). Exhaust fan ada 4 biji. Aircond mula-mula 1. Sekarang dah 3. Ok, rasa bezanya.

Maka, ruang asal rumah yang dahulunya shine bright like a diamond, sedikit gelap.

Hmmm.

P/S: bila renovate rumah, sebaiknya plan untuk semua power point yang kita nak termasuklah aircond. Kalau tak, kena pasang cable line putih macam gambar atas tu. Ini kes tiada dalam perancangan. Dapat kat Umar Faruqi, dicungkil-cungkilnya! :D

Customized gardening tool rack part 2

A better view of the whole space :)

*love*

Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device via Vodafone-Celcom Mobile.

Customized gardening tool rack

Husband's invention yesterday. Due to ridiculous ready made tool rack price at the Ikano (close to RM300), husband decided to make his own rack.

Recognize the item on the left? It is actually Leberg CD/DVD wall shelf by Ikea. We bought them for deco-work for less than RM30. Obviously it did not happen and being put aside in the store.

Pretty neat huh? I love the result. Cheaper and practical solution to our gardening affair.

Well done, husband! :D

Family vacation

April is a busy month thus far. The most memorable one was our vacation at Langkawi! Akhirnya tercapai, berbanding rancangan awal sekitar November 2012.

Seronok dua beradik tengok aeroplane. Ibu senyum sampai telinga lihat anak-anak gembira.

Jam 12 tengahari kami tiba di Langkawi. Lepas pick up beg, ibu bawa anak-anak tukar diaper dulu. Sementara tu, ayah uruskan kereta sewa. Nissan Serena menjadi pilihan. Harga sewa satu malam RM110. Not bad, luas dan selesa. Typical Nissan lover :p

Cewah. Ibu quit jadi penunjuk arah, let Garmin do the work. Urusan booking penginapan 4 hari 3 malam dibuat melalui Agoda.com. First experience, harga lebih murah berbanding booking terus melalui hotel. Lain kali boleh cuba lagi.

Hotel lama, tapi cukup selesa untuk kami 5 dewasa, 2 kanak-kanak. Pula, dapat connecting rooms. Sakan dua beradik ulang-alik bilik atok nenek. Hehe bertuah jadi cucu kesayangan.

It runs in the blood kot; ayahnya milik negara. Ayah seronok tengok anak-anak kongsi minat yang sama. Ibu, approve Navy je buat masa ni. Full stop.

Diam je sepanjang the ride. Sampai atas, ambil gambar sikit terus nak turun. Gayat, gayat, gayat. Memang tak kan saya naik lagi lepas ni! Haha.

Destinasi seterusnya ke Underwater World.

Jai Island Cafe. Pernah ke sini 4 tahun lepas; semasa honeymoon :) Kali ni datang bawa 2 anak. Masakan sedap, harga berpatutan. RAZ nyenyak tidur sepanjang di cafe. Selesai dinner, pulang ke sarang untuk tidurrrr. Semua kepenatan.

Pagi hari ketiga, ibu dan ayah ambil peluang dating sementara RAZ dan UFZ masih dibuai mimpi. Dating ambil angin, bercanda di persisiran pantai gitu. Nak pergi honeymoon berdua, tak sampai hati tinggal anak-anak.

Kenapa? Kebetulan nama ayah ber bin kan Ismail. Usik-mengusik mertua-menantu ;p

Sebelum ni tak pernah dengar nama Idaman Suri. Biasa HIG atau apa Saga tah. Kira first time jejak premis Idaman Suri ni. Best. Luas, barang jualan tersusun dan harga berpatutan! Tersenyum-senyum mama sepanjang shopping di situ. Baba main peranan spot apa yang mama suka, tapi mama kata tak nak. Baba angkut je bawa pi cashier. Eya pula, tak habis-habis dengan beg laptop dia.

Kejap je, sebab mostly dah beli kat Idaman Suri. Tapau lunch, balik hotel berehat. Agenda wajib waktu petang, swimming pool dan beach. Malam tu, siap-siap pack barang. Ibu dan ayah nervous. First time nak handle banyak barang menaiki kapal terbang, dengan RAZ & UFZ di sisi.

We love you.

Alhamdulillah. Besar rahmatmu Ya Allah :))

Nota: baba/atok/mama/nenek=parent saya. Ayah=husband saya. Ibu=saya :D

Of different perspectives

Just now, I uploaded a picture of my husband and children playing ball-passing game in the kitchen, in FB. To my surprise, comments started to came in. But mostly about the size of the kitchen rather than the activity going on and how messy the kitchen was. I got panic. Afraid that friends would take it wrongly. My intention was solely on the ball-game. Nanti ada kata saya menunjuk tak syok pula. Seriously, rumah saya biasa je. Huuu terus mak delete picture tu. Sorrylah kalau ada yang terasa ye.

Peace.

P/s: tak start mengemas rumah lagi. Mode bermalasan dengan keluarga tersayang berleluasa :D

Shoes shoes shoes

Shopping, don't we just enjoy it fellow mothers? I personally find myself ended up at children department more often compared to ladies department, for my own need! Well, I guess working so near to a shopping mall unleashes the shopaholic in you.

I always have problem when I did shopping for my kids. First and foremost, I do the shopping during weekdays. Why? Because weekends are dedicated for the family which do not enjoy spending time at the mall; to do shopping. That is us. We prefer gardening, outdoor activities or dine out (at malls) once a while. So I do the shopping on clothes, shoes, feeding bottles etc on a weekday, during that 1 hour lunch break.

Back to the problem; choosing the right size. I often had to come again to the stores and change size for items bought; especially on clothes and shoes. Hehe. Now, I have improved on the clothes part. I have identified the brand that suit my kids the most. And I know it is size 5 for 3 year-old RAZ and 3 for 1 1/2 year-old UFZ.

My recent problem is shoes. What I did earlier was, I took 1 size bigger from the kids' current shoe size (of the same brand); US8 for RAZ and US6 for UFZ. But I ended up changing size for 2 times! Finally it was US11 for RAZ and US9 for UFZ. Pheww. Not too small, not too big; with some space for them to grow 'Just Do It' together. Rest assured, I know it will last for quite some time before the next shoes.

Lesson learned in the next shoe-shopping, bring your kids along! Same brand does not guarantee same size due to design and cutting.
Picture: the final size-change scene. I even had to change design!

Back to Work

Just came back from a wonderful 4D3N family vacation at Langkawi. Bliss. Beach, swimming pool, food and shopping! All in one.

It has been so long since a perfect gateway like this. Alhamdulillah. The kids and husband were happy. Baba, mama and Eya had so much fun too :) They mean a world to me, my everything. I am so glad that they enjoyed the trip. Ada rezeki, kita pergi lagi ok.

Now, back to work!

Feeling Under the Weather

Rasa penat sangat. Lemah badan.

Terima kasih Kak Asny. Sedikit sebanyak bawa saya ke alam realiti; kembali rational. Mungkin ambil masa sedikit untuk bertenang.

This is life; one day you are on top, the next day you might be at the bottom.

Sekilas pandang di FB, terbaca status Semanis Kurma. Bait yang yang saya suka; Dalam kesakitan, kesabaran diuji...

Nurhafiza, sabar lah seikhlas hatimu. One step at a time k. In shaa Allah, things will fall into place.

Have a good weekend! :)

Uji

Keluarga kecil berdepan dengan dugaan kesihatan. Ada yang tanya, masuk hospital LAGI? Wow that is very 'thoughtful' of you. It does not sound positive/encouraging/no-sense-of-empathy to me, at all. Nonetheless, what is the point of arguing.

Hati tetap bersyukur. Separuh hari di pejabat. Tiba di hospital, lihat anak-anak tidur lena bawah jagaan ayah. They are too attached to their father; even they only see each other during weekends. 'Sampai bila kita nak duduk jauh macam ni...', said the husband, realising how touched he was with the responds shown by the kids; sungguh membahagiakan. Ibu jadi sebak.

Honestly, I find it difficult to accept long distance marriage nowadays. The kids are growing up and they need as much attention from both parents. Bila ayah ada, dia tak cari ibu. Sikit-sikit minta ayah buatkan. Bijak ambil hati. Alhamdulillah for the nikmat.

The problems are I have difficulty to trust people I just met and I hate driving to KL during weekdays! These lead to: 1) where should I send the kids if we were to move to Nilai? Raudhah just settled down at the school. Changing daycare would be expensive in terms of her emotions. Mind you, my children are defensive and do not accept people easily. If I choose to stick to Taska Raniya, that means I have to bring both kids to KL everyday. Yikes! Reality check, mana ada taska buka before pukul 7 pun kan? Kalau pukul 7 baru nak gerak from Nilai pukul berapa mak nak sampai pejabat? So KL seems to be the best choice. I maybe wrong. Perhaps I need to explore more info about this. 2) In my little experience driving to south bound, the traffic is worse that my route from KL to Bukit Beruntung. Prove to me I was wrong and I shall consider Nilai. And I refuse to drive manual car to KL. Pleaseeeeee.

Dilemma. Comfort zone vs togetherness. Both has it wonders. Both requires great sacrifices. I am clueless. What would your advice be?

Breakdown

Motherhood, a complete experience of life as a whole. A combination of all sort of emotions from the most terrible to the sweetest feeling that money can ever buy.

Alhamdulillah for the nikmat. Indeed, being a mother completes me as a person. A matured lady I am today.

So in Spiderman movie they say 'With great power comes great responsibility...' Try motherhood, you'll beat Spiderman instantly. Haha

These few days, my emotion was unstable. Being a working-mom and the leader of the house at the same time, is just require a little bit more patience and energy. Of late, am tired and I feel distracted hearing a child's tears out of nowhere. However, I understand they just wanted more attention from me, or feel like they have to fight with each other when they have only their mom at home during weekdays. And today, I broke down; like a loser... Until I saw the attached picture of RAZ and UFZ in RAZ's photobook.

Subhanallah, I cried. Suddenly the sweet memories of having both of them in my life came into my mind. Then I think, why on earth must I feel down when I have a beautiful daughter and a son with me here today... They are only clingy because I hold a special place in their heart...isn't that true?

Permudahkanlah urusan kami Ya Allah...
And ayah, you hold a special place in ibu's heart too :) jom pi Habib Jewel? Hahaha

Been looking for this for few weeks now. Apparently Mothercare KLCC ran out of stock. Went to Sogo yesterday to try my luck. Even worse, no MAM products at all.

Yeayyyy! I am close to be a stress-free mom. Tonggeng lah botol susu tu anak-anak, tak tumpah~ Hahaha

Tasbih Kafarah

Sabda Nabi saw:

Buy.Book

It is Raudhah's 3rd birthday tomorrow! It is just not easy to decide on what gift should we buy for her. Too many toys I the house, some with missing parts. Since keeping the house clean is not a big challenge, I made up my mind; book it is!

Besides books for RAZ, UFZ and ayah also got their portion. I love the three of you so much :)

P/s: 3 wonderful years of motherhood...Alhamdulillah <3

Tambah, naik

Alhamdulillah, terima berita baik di hujung tahun 2012. Rezeki anak-anak :-)
First month, hadiahkan semua 'increment' pada baba mama. Alhamdulillah, dikurniakan parents terbaik.

Terima kasih tak terhingga buat suami tersayang, sama-sama hadapi jatuh bangun saya selama berkhidmat. I love you.

In shaa Allah.

Alhamdulillah....

P/s: Bukan nak menunjuk. Hanya berkongsi rasa seronok. walaupun nilainya tidak sebanyak criteria dulu, hati tetap berbunga mekar... Diiktiraf, akhirnya!!

Cleaning_Job_11.2

Yey, seronok! Dah lama tak dapat kemas lantai (floor bawah je;living hall, tv area, dining area & kitchen) betul-betul. Of late, anak-anak bangun awal. Dulu paling awal pukul 11, sekarang pukul 8-9 paling lambat! Jadi, ibu tak ada privilege nak hadap lantai lama-lama.

Hari ni, hantar anak-anak pi rumah atok nenek dia since pukul 5 petang. Puas hati ibu. Vacuum 3 karpet, sapu dan mop lantai. Legaaaa. Dekat sebulan kot tak mengemas macam ni.

Bahagia :)))

P/s: rasa nak tukar susun atur perabot. Atau tambah seri ruang-ruang kosong. Jom cari ilham!
