Hari ni keluar lambat. Dapat info from parents pagi tadi dalam pukul 5 lebih, ada lori terbalik antara Rawang-Hospital Sg Buloh. Pukul 8, trafik update di Hot.fm sahkan trafik masih sesak.

Keluar rumah pukul 7.30 pagi. Pilih untuk ikut Ulu Yam ke KL. Seronok laluan penuh kehijauan :)

Ok gak keluar lambat macam ni. Boleh juga tengok matahari di BB :)

Saturday the 8th

Arrived home from PIL's place at 2pm. Inspired to bake as I read through a blog post by a friend last night. My first attempt; bread pudding. Thank you for sharing Yuni! Dapat bagi sikit to RAUF's babysitter. Husband kata sedap. Tapi chef tak lalu nak makan beriya. Pulak? Padahal menu wajib jamah if lunch di hotel.

Cooked spaghetti for the family. Flattered, baba and mama came over on their way back from Melaka. Seronok dapat jamu parents makanan yang kita masak :) simple menu for my family of 4. Kena ada carrot, umpan for RAZ to ate some. If not makan junk food je -_-'

P/s: Happy Birthday to SIL. Semoga cepat dapat baby. Maklong rindu nak pegang newborn lah.

Hard-cooking

Simple dish @ 11pm. Sambal berlada ikan bilis and scrambled egg. At least husband can reheat for his breakfast/lunch tomorrow. And wife can work peacefully, not being shadowed by a foe named guilt.

I find myself managing cooking utensil and ingredients more often these couple of days. Yes, I am trying to make everyone happy.

Had a packed day at work. Alas, did not take proper food since morning (4th Sept). Where has my appetite gone? Despite the absence of food, I did not feel hungry until now.

Reached home late. Left the office at 5pm actually but I was too sleepy to drive. Stopped at RNR Rawang and dozed off for almost an hour. Pathetic eh? Rest area/ lay bay along the highway is my second bed. I rather stop for a quick nap than risking myself on the road. By the time I arrived, it was already dark. The kids were picked up by my parents.

And here I am, babysitting the kids. Shouldn't you be sleeping already, young ones?

P/s: took Habatussauda for almost a month now. Alhamdulillah, I don't feel as tiring as before :)

Satisfaction

Am on emergency leave today. The house has been in a mess for quite a while. My goodness, I almost caught in stress. I think fellow working mothers would get me; how we feel about juggling between managing kids & husband, work, and never-ending-house chores!

So today, I managed to buy some time for simple-brunch, mopping the floor and laundry. Now I can smile again :)

P/s: Missing my young ones. Hope you behave well kids. Ibu loves you both...let's pray for ayah's recovery. Insyaallah.

Susah hati

Dugaan...Allah tak uji di luar kemampuan hambaNya. Kita dipilih untuk ujian ini.

The Quest for a Shoe

One of the lesson that I learned from being a mother for almost 3 years now is about not-compromising comfort. What I wear simply speaks how I feel (comfort); although it appears as sluggish to some others. I don't bother to look grand in order to feel good. In fact I feel great without make-up, Gucci, Jovian Mandagie, 10 karat diamond and a Porsche. Nothing, compare to the satisfaction of chasing a 30 and 10 months old toddler and baby around!

But yeah, I have to admit that once a while you need to spend for a looker. Cruel world. What is seen as nice, deemed as nice. So I adapt, moderately to cater both; others' perceptions and most importantly my values.

Shoes and women are just like sugar and spice. Well, irony-ly, almost everything is a woman's best friend (???). The last shoes I bought was back when I was pregnant with UFZ. Oh yes, it was during raya! Guess what, I still put on the same Scholl flats until now. Being the only shoes in the active mode. Wow. Ni Haji Bakhil pon kalah! Haha. Honestly, I can easily-give up when searching for a shoe. I am fussy. Only because of;
1. Size
I am tall and heavy. Heels make my back hurt. Flats appear boring but often a best-fit.
2. Load
My 10 months old baby loves to be carried by his over-attentive ibu. He is not that light.
3. Design
Non strap (quick-wear), light-weight, proper foot support and yet, stylish.

Most of the time stylish shoes are not meant for comfort. Period.

Today, I made the time to look for new shoe at iSetan in conjunction of hari raya. Took me a while, seriously. Settled down with one from Pedal Works. Light weight, platform/wedge cut for stability, foot support in place and ankle guard for better grip.

P/s: Done with shoes. Need to work on the add-ons for the hijab. Too simple. Time, please be at my side...

Few friends tegur saya nampak lain.

1. Tudung lilit - sebab ni je tudung yang match dengan baju.

2. Hijau. Kata mereka naik seri pakai hijau. Hmm mak anak dua pon ada main naik-naik seri lagi ke? Mungkin sebab kuih seri muka warna hijau? Haha apa-apa je la.

Quick-cook

11 Ramadhan.

Alhamdulillah. Menu for breakfasting today; nasi tomato, ayam masak merah, telur mata kero (haha!) and lemonade.

Decided on the menu on my way back from work. Called mama for the quick-cooking-guide. And managed to prepare the dishes in 45 minutes. For a first timer, the nasi tomato deserves a compliment! Despite the absence of few herbs for extra-flavour, the taste is still well accepted by the husband.

Oh I am a happy wife! Alhamdulillah :)

P/s: sorry over sikit. Not everyday I get to cook like this. Took the advantage while the kids were still at the babysitter's place ;p

Tak masak?

Menu berbuka 7 Ramadhan.
Fettucini in tomato sauce for ayah, beef tomato sauce and cheese (lasagna tanpa pasta version sendiri) for ibu, and sirap bandung soda.
Percubaan kali pertama.

Semua ibu/isteri mahu berikan yang terbaik untuk keluarga, kan? Jujur, saya tidak hebat lagi dalam hal uruskan keluarga kecil; bersama DUA anak. Pula saya bekerja nun di KL, ulang alik 120+ km setiap hari. Fuh. Alhamdulillah, berkat kerja jauh itulah dapat sara keluarga bersama suami tersayang, beri yang terbaik untuk anak-anak, belanja ibu bapa.

Satu benda yang saya jarang dapat buat ialah memasak. Sangat tidak kerap. Kalau ada yang boleh tolong babysit pasti saya lebih rancak ke dapur. Ibu yang seorang ini kalah dengar anak menangis. Huhuuu

Apa-apa pon saya cuba berikan yang terbaik dan baiki agihkan masa demi suami, anak-anak, ibu bapa dan secara tidak langsung, melaksanakan tugas untuk majikan. Ramai punya hak ke atas saya.

P/s: Tak terkilan walau nampak serabut. Yang penting saya tau saya cuba dan terus usaha :) Alhamdulillah atas nikmat dariNya.

Tazkirah bersama MD/CEO

Alhamdulillah. Pagi Jumaat ini dimulakan dengan tazkirah dan solat hajat bersama MD/CEO. MD/CEO sendiri sampaikan tazkirah dan menjadi iman jemaah solat hajat. Semoga pekerja dan syarikat terus mendapat rahmat dariNya tambah lagi dalam bulan yang mulia ini. Insyaallah.

MD/CEO mengigatkan semua tentang 'Journey to the Future'. Bukan hal-hal duniawi, tetapi 'future' ke arah alam yang abadi. Peringatan tentang tujuan kita semua di sini, dan apa yang patut kita lakukan. Sungguh memuhasabah diri.

Dua perkara yang saya suka nak ingatkan diri;

1. Diriwayatkan bahawa bulan Ramadhan sungguh besar nikmatnya. Bulan Ramadhan juga ialah bulan kesabaran, sedang sabar itu ganjarannya adalah syurga.

Subhanallah. Hati, bersabarlah ya.

2. Pengiraan zakat fitrah sebenar ialah 2.3kg beras seorang. Tetapi di Malaysia zakat fitrah diberi dalam bentuk wang antara sebabnya adalah kerana faktor logistik. Umumnya jumlah zakat ditetapkan berdasarkan harga beras yang biasa digunakan oleh orang kebanyakan. Realiti, ramai di antara kita yang bernasib baik, mampu makan beras yang baik kualitinya seperti cap Taj Mahal, basmathi dan sebagainya. Maka sepatutnya jumlah zakat yang dituntut ke atasnya adalah harga 2.3kg beras cap mahal tersebut, bukan lah RM7 seperti resit pembayaran. Pesan En Sam (sebut macam 'Sam this is my card~'), kalau kita makan beras mahal, bayar je RM14 untuk seorang. Biar lebih jumlahnya, sebagai sedekah. Kalau Amil tidak terima, gaduhlah kat situ, seloroh En Sam ;p

Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah...Semoga diperkenankan doa, dipermudahkan urusan dan baik kesudahan semuanya. Insyaallah.

Refund

Received a refund of credit from Maxis yesterday. No doubt that it has long overdue, but for them to actually acknowledged the over-payment of our very last bill back in September 2011 and sent me the cheque are something good to highlight.

We were happy with the coverage offered. However the service charge was too expensive compared to what we enjoy now, with Celcom. Nonetheless, Maxis made excitement possible in our long-distance-marriage. Thank you.

P/s: Celcom coverage is 'shaky' of late. Punyalah customer sorang ni dok gebang awak bagus. Testing my patience! Nasib baik puasa :D

Pre-budget presentation

Life has been hectic to prepare the material for presentation today. Alhamdulillah, all went well. A colleague, senior of 2 years congratulate me for a job well done, she said. I was the lowest executive by rank and definitely the lowest paid in the meeting room. MD/CEO and other Management Committee members were there. Excited and nervous, I was.

Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the audience. I am a fan of the MD/CEO. The most humble man of such position. The audience will definitely wants to hear more from me. Insyaallah, see you in September, bosses!

P/s: Perasaan selepas present paper to the top managers adalah seperti mendapat jambangan bunga! Haha syukur.

Green-affair

Imagine all these plants occupying the back seat of a Satria. Wow? Haha.

Despite natural gas cylinder conquering the space in the bonnet, the back seat managed to fit all these. There were 30 bags of rumput mutiara, 1 poly bag of hibiscus, and 25 poly bags of other plants which I am not sure of the names. Haha. Also some organic fertilizer.

Phewww :)

P/s: A good 'life cycle' is now exist in the garden. Previously,even a bird did not have interest to step on the ground. Not anymore. Birds, frogs and snails are around. Showing that there is food for them and that nutritious soil for the grass. Credit to the hard-working husband!

A Beginning & An End

I fell in love with gardening again. It has been a while since my last encounter with soil and plant. 3 years at least; from the first pregnancy. I was not a hard core gardener but love to get involved in family activities. Gardening is my parents' passion. So this eldest child join them, ever-willingly.

I have stopped expressing breast milk at work. It was a difficult decision but at a perfect timing. Work is piling up. I have not been using the mothers room for a month now, only expressing in the car on the way home. Last week, I did not bring my breast pump bag to work anymore. However, I still direct feed my son at home. The challenge now is Umar bites! I am not ready to give up on breast feeding my baby though. The bonding is too precious.

P/s: 19 July, it has been 2 months since we moved into our home sweet home :)

9-wonderful-months

Alhamdulillah, Umar Faruqi turns 9 months today. Pheww, time flies huh? It feels like I just met you yesterday, dear Umar. You are growing up fast, too fast for ibu to catch up. Sometimes I wish I had more time to spend with you and kakak. I still remember the intense-moment in the labour room. Painful at the beginning but delivery was smooth, easier than I ever imagined. Subhanallah.

My prayers for you to grow healthy, wise and most important, happy. Your smile speaks the happiness and love you get. May Allah bless you always, dear baby.

Tazkirah@work - June

Badan penat sikit 2 3 hari ni. Bila kita banyak berfikir, banyak juga tenaga yang diguna. Tak percaya? Betul. Study selama 2 jam untuk exam adalah lebih memenatkan daripada 45 minit bermain bola jaring. Cubalah kalau masih tak percaya.

Pagi ni semasa sarapan bosses inform ada sesi tazkirah bulanan bermula jam 9 pagi. Saya ambil peluang 'ubat' hati lara dengan hadiri sesi tersebut. Mudah-mudahan dapat kembalikan semangat supermom.

A: "Jaja ni tak semangat je macam ada problem. Selalu ceria tak macam ni"
B: "Saya pon ada masalah, tapi relaks je"
Seorang Jaja senyum je dengar jawapan B. Fikir saya, masalah awak, dengan masalah saya sama ke nak buat direct comparison macam tu? Takpalah, yang cakap tu orang tua. Sengih je la labu eh ibuuuu :)

Tazkirah ustaz hari ini sangat indah pengisiannya. Sambil mendengar, jari tekun ambil nota elektronik untuk rujukan sendiri. Saya kongsi juga dengan anda sebagai 'refreshment' bersama.

Kelebihan Sya'aban

1. Doa dimustajabkan melainkan doa tiga golongan iaitu orang yang syirik, org yang berzina dan orang yang suka bermusuhan.
2. Bulan diampunkan dosa.
3. Bulan dinaikkan ganjaran puasa selepas bulan Ramadhan dan Rejab.
4. Bulan digalakkan agar banyak beristighfar dan berzikir serta bersedekah.

Kelebihan Ramadhan

1. Pintu-pintu syurga dibuka manakala pintu-pintu neraka ditutup.
2. Jin dan syaitan akan yg dibelenggu
Menurut Imam Shafie, hanya jin dan syaitan yg bengis sahaja dibelenggu manakala yg lain masih bebas.
3. Diampunkan serta dibersihkan (disucikan) dari dosa dengan syarat amalan dilakukan dengan iman dan ikhlas.
4. Kelebihan Lailatul Qadr yang ganjaran pahalanya lebih baik dari 83 tahun.
5. Diafiatkan daripada sakit bagi mereka yang mengamalkan bacaan 7 fatihah. (Malam 1 Ramadhan, selepas maghrib. Sebelum solat terawikh pertama)

Sabda rasullullah.

Diberi kpd umatku lima perkara yg belum diberikan kepada umat2 sebelumnya iaitu:

A. Bau mulut orang yang berpuasa lebih harum dari kasturi.
B. Segala perbelanjaan dan derita lapar selama sebulan adalah syurga balasannya.
C. Diampunkan dosa mereka pada Lailatul Qadr.
D. Amalan digandakan kepada 10 hingga 700 kali ganda.
E. Dikurniakan dua keseronokan iaitu ketika berbuka dan ketika temui Tuhan.

Bersama-samalah mencari kelebihan syaaban dan ramadhan.

Outing

Brought the kids for an outing at AEON Kepong. Why Kepong? Pelik kan. No doubt, AEON Rawang is much better. It so happened that husband made appointment for a test drive at one of the show rooms at Kepong. Maka aktiviti susulan pon kat Kepong jawabnya. Seronok anak-anak ayah bawa berjalan :) Thanks ayah! Friday@home

Saya di rumah hari ini. Sakit mata, dapat MC.

Seronok bila di rumah. Lebih seronok jika semuanya terletak di tempat yang sepatutnya. Mustahil. Sebaik komando-komando kecil terjaga maka gamatlah rumah ini. Dan ibu pasti akan terkejar-kejar. Masak, mengemas dan yang paling utama, membelek komando-komando ini. Makan pakai nya nombor satu. Yang lain jatuh hukum sunat. Bila sempat baru buat.

Gambar di atas adalah menu hari ni. Mee goreng cepat dimasak sedap dimakan. Mengenangkan komando kakak bangun pagi mesti nak makan. Terima kasih komando adik bagi ruang pangEnam ibu berkhidmat di dapur. Sesudah makan, ibu dapat hadiah seperti gambar di bahagian bawah. Kurang 1 mug Corelle ibu. Sobssss. Esok raya tak boleh entertain tetamu lebih dari 7orang pada 1 masa. Fine.

P/s2: Bila cuti, babysitter pula datang bertandang jenguk komando dan pangEnam ibu yang jelas kurang terurus. Datang bawa catalog Tupperware. Walaupun ibu boleh dapat special diskaun di pejabat, ibu order juga kenangkan layanan baik mereka pada komando tersayang :) Bajet belanja raya kena revise nampaknya haha

Handbag...to love and hate

Longchamp Le Pliage.

It took me a while to accept this brand. Had difficulty to digest the price which I thought is a bit expensive for the product range it offers. Too simple for hundreds buck.

But somehow, I drowned along, influenced by the trend that I never imagine to be a part of. Seriously funny. I guess, the woman in me has unleashed (whatever!).

So, here is my 2 cents worth of opinion, based on my short and sweet relationship with LC, Le Pliage to be specific.

The PROs:
1. Weight - Very very very, incredibly light. Especially if you own a long-handled type.
2. Space - Huge, ample room for storage. You know how woman can carry a house in their handbag! I find this very convenient especially in the events of wedding, hospital appointment and of course, shopping! You could just throw everything inside. Including feeding bottle and bunga telur! Haha
3. Material - It is waterproof and easy to clean.
4. Variety - Available in small, medium and large size, short and long handle & lots of colours and patterns to choose from.
5. Fold-able. More rooms for other things in your wardrobe :D

The CONs:
1. Imitation - you can find the imitated LP almost everywhere. Well for a price range of RM12 to RM15 per unit (200% cheaper, at least), who cares whether it is genuine or not? End up, budak sekolah rendah pergi mengaji pon dok kendong LP ;p
2. Pricey. In a way this lead to imitation.
3. Look - Does not represent the price, with or without Eiffel Tower on it. If you are cheapskate or penny-wise like me, you'll go 'WHAT?' over the price tag.

Yeah. That is basically it. My opinion about LP. If you are planning to get one, go ahead. Although it is a bit pricey I did not regret buying at the first place. Atleast I see why people love it.

P/s: Took 42 minutes evening walk from KLCC to MINDEF yesterday in baju kurung and 3/4 inch heel, carrying the breast pump bag and large LP long handle (with lots of stuff inside. Siap ada food container isi 2 ketul ayam goreng) along. Guess what, I barely feel the pressure on my left shoulder. So I now I am a satisfied 'victim' and agree to love LP for its light weight.

Last night before bed time, I had the best motherly-moment with my kids. Subhanallah, the feeling was so beautiful; seeing them together. Smiling, giggling, playing with each other. My prayers for this moment to remain forever; may this sense of 'belonging' remain in tact. Yes, you are sister and brother. A relationship that would never break. Something that ibu does not really enjoy...sigh

Thank you too, dear husband.

P/s: we miss you Cuya! :) make atok & nenek proud ok.

P/s: In a time of test, family is the best! Went to work with baba & mama yesterday. I feel loved, always. May Allah bless them with peace and happiness. Amin.

:) I smile whenever I lay my eyes on RA.UF, looking at the kids. Subhanallah. Macam mana nakal they were at times pon, I find it difficult to get mad. I will laugh instead. Ibu loves you dear kakak!

RAZ is getting naughtier nowadays. I hope I will be able to remain calm, managing my 28 months old toddler.

P/s: notice how serious my 'zombie-ness' skin is? This is how I look without make up. Yeah, I don't enjoy/had enough rest anymore. Not to mention how crappy I am with routine/ skin care discipline. Need to catch up with my MK products!

Pindah 1.0

Pejam celik, cukup sebulan dah kami menetap di sini. Empat beranak, sebumbung, sendiri. Alhamdulillah, perlahan-lahan kami cuba sesuaikan diri; pengalaman baru untuk kami.

Sebulan yang penuh dengan terpekik terlolong, tergelak terbahak, tersengih tersenyum, tergigit tersinggung. Asam garam rumah tangga, hidup berkeluarga. Sebagai ibu yang bekerja, saya tak nafikan sering dilanda rasa penat. Fuh. Balik harung trafik yang sesak, tak sempat sebut pi-sang dah kena lapor diri pada anak-anak sayang. Untung punya suami yang sangat memahami; mahu beri kerjasama uruskan isi rumah. Hal ehwal kain baju dan laman rumah ditanggung beres. Tiada kes gunung-kain di rumah kami. Kerja-kerja dapur, siapa lapang akan uruskan. Biasanya saya cuba selesaikan basuh botol susu anak-anak, susun pinggan mangkuk, sediakan bakul susu untuk dibawa ke bilik tidur secepat mungkin sementara anak-anak ber-happy hour depan tv. Tapi biasalah, kadang ada iklan-iklan seperti anak-anak berebut kuasa/perhatian, sesi tukar lampin dan sebagainya.

Berdasarkan pemerhatian, kekemasan rumah paling lama tahan 3 hari. Rumah macam kapal pecah. Mainan anak-anak di mana-mana. Tak marah, tak nak stress. Bersihkan yang mana mampu. Belajar 'let go'. Come on, kita bukan robot. Saya tidak bercadang untuk ambil pembantu rumah, biarlah saya buat sendiri. Saya yakin, jika diberi masa dan jika ada kesungguhan, pasti boleh!

Berita baik, Raudhah sudah boleh terima hakikat. Sekarang, tidak lagi menangis bila ibu ayah ajak balik dari rumah atok nenek. Raudhah kenal dan tahu ini rumah kami. Alhamdulillah. Dia juga demanding. Selalu ajak naik bilik, nak ber-aircond. Budak pon tahu bahang cuaca sekarang kan?

Antara kerja-kerja yang masih perlu perhatian adalah deko laman. (Oh, deko dalam rumah adalah sangat minimal, hampir tiada. Setakat adakan perabot. Pasu, bunga langsung takda, mesra-anak-kecil. Sayang pula nak tebuk dinding gantung hiasan segala) Projek rumput ayah sudah 40% siap. Progres kurang, kebetulan bulan ni ramai kawan melangsungkan perkahwinan. Insyaallah, akan diusahakan lagi 60% tu.

P/s: baru nak sesuaikan diri, dapat berita tak berapa menarik pula. Tak payah pindah, please?

P/s2: bila nak sampai ni. Dah minggu ketiga, masih tak nampak bayang. Cepat sikit, ok?

Senyuman menawan 2

9.50 pagi, selesai rawatan scaling. Hanya ambil masa 5 minit termasuk consultation. Tunggu giliran punyalah lama. Rawatan yang diterima sepantas kilat. Tapi nak duduk lama-lama pun tak senang, doktor dan pembantunya lelaki. Suami dah pulang ke pejabat untuk hadiri mesyuarat.

Scaling kejap je, doktor kata tak teruk. Doktor sarankan pakai braces. Bab tunggu giliran tu aku lemah sikit. Kalau boleh semua nak cepat. Soalnya, kos. Yang cepat banyak, kosnya setimpal juga. Wah wah. Ekonomi tahun ni ketat sikit. Masa 'recovery' sedang berlangsung. Kembali menabung setelah semua diratah buat belanja masuk rumah. Wajarkah belanja ribuan ringgit lagi untuk rawatan kosmetik pergigian? Sila muhasabah diri.

Senyuman menawan

Gigi yang teratur antara faktor penyeri senyuman kita, betul? Suka dan kagum dengan golongan yang punya gigi yang cantik. Makin naik seri gigi itu bila disunting dengan senyuman yang ikhlas.

Setiap kali hamil (setakat ini baru 2 kali, ayat macam dah banyak kali sangat kan :p), ada fasa yang aku rasa gigi jadi sakit. Ya, mungkin faktor sumber kalsium yang kurang, untuk dikongsi 2 beranak. Tapi sakit ini seolah-olah ada pergerakan saf gigi berlaku biasanya pada waktu malam. Sudahnya, bila bangun pagi, rasa ngilu dan sakit seperti ada tekanan. Keadaan ini tidak kekal, hanya 2 3 kali sepanjang tempoh kehamilan.

Semalam, sambil belek gambar di telefon bimbit, aku terkedu sekejap. Hmm gigi yang sedia terjungkit ni nampaknya makin menjadi. Terus BBM suami, nyatakan hasrat nak pakai braces. Ok ke? Belum sempat pon nak cari info lanjut, suami dah semak prosedur rawatan di Pusat Gigi Angkatan Tentera (PGAT). Proaktif.

Saat ini, kami masih menunggu giliran. Sedia menunggu dari jam 7.15 pagi tadi. Apa agaknya nasihat doktor nanti. Tempoh menunggu untuk giliran rawatan ortodontik lama, 2 hingga 3 tahun. Kalau boleh, mahu bebas-braces semasa mengandung anak seterusnya. Boleh ke dapat giliran cepat? Hehe kalau tak dapat kita ke klinik swasta gamaknya. Apa-apa pun, hari ni kita cek keadaan gigi dan recommendation doktor dulu.

P/s: kali terakhir ke dentist tahun 2007, surgeri cabut geraham bongsu.

Birthday@home

Alhamdulillah. Officially turn 28 years old today. Feel great for the opportunity to clean up the house as a start. The kids woke up late, giving ibu the time she really look forward since we moved in. Thank you kids! Husband, as usual is busy at our garden-to-be. Definitely require a lot of work for a space that big. And yes, you are doing great, keep it up hunny!

Home sweet home. Simple and moderate, just like us...just the way we want it to be. Alhamdulillah :)

Groupon Deal - Photobook

First attempt, hopefully the photobook will turn up great. Dearest RAZ does not own any physical photo album can you believe me? Oh I did print some pictures of her; until 2 months old. I felt guilty. And insist of doing something about it before adik arrived. Thanks to a friend, I managed to find my way to the photobook-deal last year. Great deal indeed, for an almost 70% discounted price who could say NO? Not me :D

We had ample time to place the order. The 'groupon' valid for months. Guess what, my friend and I only placed our order today, at the very last day! Pheww, lucky we made it! I struggled to re-do the design due to server limitation at the workplace. Had to play tricks to get the design done pronto! Hehe ;p

Moved out

19 May 2012

Decision has been made. We officially have moved to our own house today. A new place to call as home.

The kids were excited, as if they know this place is ours... A signal that tells "Hey ibu, let's adapt to the new sight, surrounding and routine together!" Insyaallah all will be just fine. Please be helpful and behave well kids!

The house still in a mess especially at the living room, upstairs. I never knew I have lots of clothes! They need to be arranged accordingly. As for the furniture, we just bought the basic first. To buy all at once ( we only own a queen sized bed and a medium sized wardrobe since married), is simply too expensive! Insyaallah, what we have now is enough ;) Alhamdulillah..

To atok, nenek and cuya, we could not thank you enough for your love and care. Ibu appreciates the love and undivided attention that all of you have given and  shown to both RAZ and UFZ :'-( Although we are only two blocks away, I can't help but feeling the blues. Too many memories were faced together; during the good and tough times. Got engaged, married and went through confinement (2 times) there. The house has witnessed me growing; from a teenager, adult and now a mother of two :-)

Are you insured?

A form of assurance, in case unfavorable events set in. There are lots of insurance product in the market nowadays. Of which vehicle, life and medical being among the top ones.

Believe it or not, having own an insurance policy for medical is an increasing trend in Malaysia. In developed countries, it has always appear important to the extend that medical treatment cannot be enjoyed should one does not enrolled any. We are fortunate that medical cost in Malaysia still being subsidised by the government. As low as RM1, Malaysian could enjoy medical treatment complete with medication for 1 to 3 months. Crazily cheap. Well, as crazy as the queuing crowd too. Appointments usually fixed once every 2 to 3 months depending on how critical the case is. Point to ponder, can you really wait?

I am fortunate for being employed by MNCs since graduated in 2007. These companies offer attractive medical perks; lavish. Thank you to my current employee, the whole family (husband, kids and I) is covered by ING. So technically, I am spoiled for having to enjoy good medicines and consultation in town. Until one day, I realized 'Hey, what if one day I am no longer with the employer? As much possible I want my kids to continue to get the best' That is when I thought of enrolling medical policy, especially for my kids. Alhamdulillah, I managed to get a policy for Raudhah as her 18months old gift, while Umar gets his as soon as he was born :) Having this resulted in the peace of mind for the mother. However, I am the only one in the family without alternative insurance coverage! Husband and kids are Takaful-ly protected! Hehehe Insyaallah will arrange for self-enrollment soon :)

Nobody wish to be sick. So do I. What more than not when it comes to my loved ones. From my recent experience, I highly encourage parents out there to enroll medical insurance for their children. Our recent hospital bill costs us 5-digits amount. Pheww. Lucky ING covered the expenses. Imagine if it was not? Honestly I don't have savings as much! Of course, going to government hospital is always free, with husband being an officer serving the government. No questions, the skilled specialist is there. But then again, few pull-factors lead us to private hospital. Quick respond, pleasant ambiance, satisfactory services.

Alhamdulillah, we had the advantage and access to great doctors and treatments. Again, I have no problem with government hospital. Hey, I was born in HKL! Just that being a parent, you can't help it but to give the best possible to your children as far as medical is concerned. Don't wait, get your own policy today! Ewah...

Ramai sayang

Bulan ni, kami diuji dengan ujian kesihatan lagi. Ya Allah, mohon dipermudahkan urusan, baik kesudahan semuanya. Buat anakanda tersayang, ibu sepenuh hati mendoakan keselamatan dan kesejahteraanmu. Insyaallah semua akan ok. Ibu is so proud of you for being such a strong kid. Mudah-mudahan Allah terus bantu. Sebak hati tak terkata,. Namun kita harus terus optimis dan percaya padaNya. Insyaallah...semua akan ok.

Ramai sayangkan anakanda. Ramai sangat. Alhamdulillah, ibu terharu. Ayah bagi idea bernas pada ibu; pakaikan anakanda baju sendiri. Motivation untuk rasa seperti biasa, mudah-mudahan cepat sembuh. Psikologi. Tapi baju yang ada semua jenis sarung, payah. Mana nak cari baju berbutang depan?

Alhamdulillah. Persoalan semalam selesai terjawab hari ni bila mana sepupu rapat ibu sanggup datang dari Shah Alam bawakan baju baru untuk anakanda, 4 helai semuanya. Ibu sangat seronok! Koleksi ini ditambah sehelai lagi oleh seorang rakan baik ibu; bestest friend tempat berkongsi suka duka. Bertuah. Daripada takda apa-apa, jadi 4 helai kemudian 5. Lumayan. Lebih lumayan lagi bila ibu dapat sms dari rakan-boleh-tahan-rapat inform esok nak singgah bagi pajamas buat anakanda. Ya Allah...ramainya bantu. Syukur alhamdulillah.

Mudah-mudahan berkat doa semua, anakanda cepat sembuh. Terlalu berat untuk ibu cerita kenapa, apa jadi pada anak tersayang kepada semua. Ibu tak mampu kawal emosi buat masa ini. Kalau kita ikhlas doakan kesejahteraan sesama insan, tak tau apa sebabnya juga boleh kan? Terima kasih kepada yang mendoakan anakanda Raudhah Amani. Semoga Allah balas jasa baik kalian. Insyaallah...

Wengurl: Wedding No. 4

Wengurl... A group of 10 hard working career women, who met each other 10 years back in a small, deserted area called Tronoh, Seri Iskandar.  A few gatherings pulled them closer, until a mutual agreement is established. Yes, we are sisters!

Time flies. The girls are now grown to beautiful ladies. Still, with different backgrounds and different characters. Thanks to the spirit of friendship, we compliment each other, we appreciate each other and we concern about each other.

Now, we don't live under the same roof. We have our own life's to concentrate on; family, work, boyfriends. But hey, no excuse. Technology makes companionship possible. We are now connected through Whatsapp! Cheer and laughter are just a text a way when you need it :D we love Whatsapp!

30 March 2012 marked another milestone; the forth wedding in the group. This time, Fira tied the knot! The reception was held at Lembaga Getah, Jalan Ampang. 8 of us came with husbands, kids and boyfriends. Alin, the bride #3 didn't make it. She just gave birth to a healthy baby boy early Mach. I am so thankful that Zul allowed me to be present, although it was a night-wedding. [first 3 weddings captured here]

The kids were well-behaved; Raudhah slept throughout the ceremony in the stroller while Umar, was so calm and patience. Thank you kids! Ibu misses ibu's girlfriends a lot.

Great companion to keep. Alhamdulillah.
